Margaret Garrigan arrived on Tuesday, 3/25/03 at 9:17 p.m. She weighed 6 lbs. 8 oz. and measured 18.5"
Active labor started around Noon and the midwives & doula arrived shortly after. Jen's parents were also present (they extended their stay after Jen's due date of 3/15 came and went). Sean called at some point during the day, so he was given the heads up that the baby was finally on the way! Jen wandered throughout the house as she labored, heading to the bedroom and bath tub when the contractions got more intense. Margaret was delivered in the Jacuzzi tub, she entered the world with a splash! Sean called back just an hour after Margaret arrived. When told by Jen that he was the proud father of another girl, he responded, "I'm so hosed." The Gillespie men love their girls!
