Ch-ch-ch-changes!
I'm hanging up my SAHM hat. At least, I'm trying to.
I've been "itchy" for a while, which the bakery job scratched for a bit. But the hours have never been easy, especially since they can't pay me enough to afford childcare. So I work on Saturdays. Which is great for working on wedding cakes but not so great if you want to spend time with your entire family.
I'm now officially looking for full time work. It's been slow going. Lots of resumes have gone out and so far, just one interview (this morning, actually). The internet makes it easier to job hunt. But like any subject on the internet, there is a lot of garbage! It's been quite the experience learning how to filter through it.
Keep your fingers crossed for me as I hunt for the right job. I'll be sure to post an update as soon as I have a concrete job offer.

you go girl....best of luck with the job hunt, I know it's tough going these days. I may be ready in a year or 2 depending on if we stay in the States or head back overseas again. Kai starts pre-school in Sept so we'll see how it is to be at home with an infant by myself again.

Hi Becky! Thanks for the well wishes. I'm hoping for a job that will tap into my project management skills. I really enjoy the dynamic environment. I've got a couple promising leads, we shall see!
