Another fun cake

This weekend, we had five custom cake orders. This cake, for a young teen, was my favorite. The blue icing was fun! The swimmer is made of fondant. We used a mold to shape the limbs & torso. I then painted it freehand. She even has goggles!


Her Mom (who picked the cake up) was thrilled. The ultimate irony? Her daughter's favorite swim stroke is the backstroke.
