Water, water, everywhere

With Ernesto bearing down on us, the area is getting a much-needed soaking. In some spots, it's more welcome then others.

Take, for instance, the subflooring of my living room.

Today was supposed to be the install of the bamboo flooring. Unfortunately, they found some moisture by the back door when they pulled up the carpet. So, now we're scrambling to get that repaired. We were thinking about replacing the door anyway, so no better time like the present! I've got two contractors coming by tomorrow to check it out. Unfortunately, it looks like the width of the door is NOT standard so it won't be a quick fix.

I'm pretty sure this means I won't be taking delivery of my furniture on Tuesday. Never a dull moment!
