Moving - Phase 1

The movers are coming on Monday to pack up our main household good shipment. All the furniture and whatever we don't hide from the packers. Toys, clothing, wine bottles. You know, important stuff.

The Transportation Office scheduled 2 days for 13,000 pounds of stuff. The moving supervisor who came and surveyed our apartment this morning said they would try to finish it in one day. A one-day packout is fine, as long as they don't take our bed until Tuesday. I want somewhere to sleep Monday night!

Having done very little sorting and organizing, this weekend will be busy. Oh, and Sean will be squeezing in a round of golf tomorrow morning. I made him promise he'd focus on the sorting stuff for the rest of the weekend. And, he'd get no breakfast in bed for Father's Day. I might have to cave on that one, since I forgot to buy him a card.
