It's official, I don't like Mary's teacher. I've gotten weird vibes from the get-go (as have other parents) but couldn't put my finger on it. I think I've mentioned some misgivings on the blog here a few times. Well, tonight she walked into our seating section at the food court. We were the only family in the section. When she saw us, she turned around and left without saying a word. I didn't even have time to smile a hello. I'm just flabbergasted at her rudeness. Oh, and did I mention pissed?
I'm mulling it over but plan to ask for a meeting next week. I don't think I'll have anything constructive to say to her directly, so I'm thinking a first step is to meet with Mary's counselor. This is awkward because I don't have too many specific complaints against her, it's more of a bad vibe. Does she dislike me because she doesn't like Mary? Or vice versa? Either way, it's a problem. Hmm, maybe I should just put a list together. There may be more concrete complaints than I realize...

Or maybe she hates teaching and wishes not to be reminded of it. Either way, she needs to go. Mary is such a good student, there is no call for any teacher to act so unprofessional! (Maybe she hates Korea. I will help give her a one-way ticket home....
