Meaghan had her first pediatric check-up today, everything was great. She's now 9 lbs 4 oz (60%), length 20" (40%) and head circumference 14.8" (>95%). Not bad for 2 wks! She has a touch of thrush, both in her diaper area and her mouth. Thankfully, I'm not experiencing any symptoms so I'm hopeful we've caught it early (thrush makes breastfeeding VERY painful if mom gets it). The pediatrician gave me medication for both Meaghan and myself, so we'll see if takes care of things.

She passed her newborn hearing screen and held up well for her heel stick (for the PKU/metabolic blood test). She got a clean bill of health; we'll take her back for another well-baby visit around 2 months.
