Well, I was surprised today.

Was tickling Margaret during a diaper change this afternoon when I noticed something in her mouth. This child has two (yes, two!) molars coming in! We're talking the back-most molars. One is all the way in and the other is mostly in. Guess her head decided to skip the incisors and other teeth in between (she's got the front four upper teeth in so far). Certainly explains some of her erratic behavior of late, especially the picky eating. (We had thought teething, but everytime I checked her mouth, I didn't see any changes).

That all said, it was always obvious to me when Mary was teething as a baby. Obviously, it's not so easy with this child! There's some swelling in her lower jaw, so I'm guessing some molars will be poking through soon. Joy!
