So we're back from our fabulous vacation in Sydney, Australia. Was wonderful to just go somewhere, Sean & I realized that most of our vacations have involved visiting family or friends. Was a nice change of pace to just be together as a family. It was the perfect length too, we were ready to come home yesterday.

Mary & Margaret travelled great, and our flights were uneventful. We had some turbulence coming back, turns out there was a big typhoon passing by Japan. The lodging was adequate ~ nothing fabulous, but the price was good so can't complain. Stayed in a "serviced apartment" so we had our own kitchen and separate bedroom for the adults.

Took in everything we wanted to in Sydney, we saw all the big spots plus took a cruise of Sydney bay one day and a neat all-day tour of the Blue Mountains (got to see the Three Sisters among other things).
