Mary had a good first day of school! Met the bus in plenty of time. Picked her up after school (more on that later), her only complaint was the day was "too long." I'm sure she'll settle in soon enough. Fifteen of her classmates from last year returned to Mrs. Allen's class. We'll see if she has the same complaint today!

I'm SO excited!

Picked up Mary from school to get an eye checkup. Everything is good, the glasses are doing what they should and we don't have to adjust the Rx. The optamologist was very nice, I'm planning to go back to him for the follow-up next year.

I don't want Margaret to feel left out, so here's a cute picture of her giving Daddy a kiss. She now puckers up, you can see the depression in her cheek if you look closely.
