Lots of forward progress on Friday! Mary and Margaret's overseas screening are done! Went to the dental clinic and the dentist signed off just looking at our records, we didn't even have to sit in a dental chair. I'm being told I need a measles shot, but I'm hoping I can defer that because my research revealed the MMR (measles, mumps & rubella) shot they'd give me is a live virus. The vaccine manufacturer says to "use caution" with breastfeeding moms since the virus can be passed to the kid. They have documented cases of children catching measles from mom. I really don't want to deal with that during a move!
I go back to the hospital on Monday for a dental cleaning and I plan to swing by the immunization clinic to chat about the shot. Ideally, they'll sign off on the screening and I can walk right up to Admin and turn everything in.
Meanwhile, I'm going to schedule move dates with Household Goods this coming week. Things should hopefully start firming up this coming week.
Mary continues to read up a storm, her confidence is climbing everyday. She enjoys reading to me, I can already see her sitting down to read to Margaret in another few months. Margaret definitely prefers to walk now, and she's getting steadier everyday. I just ordered some new shoes for her, I hope they arrive soon!
