OK, this blog thing is way cool. Don't even have it linked to my website yet, but I'm enjoying adding entries. Margaret is down for her morning nap and I'm fighting with MS Frontpage. I should have bought a different webpage editor. Ah well, spilled milk at this point. I know everyone will be happy to see an updated website, considering I haven't touched it since April!

Checked in with my boss last week to start working again. I took leave starting in June and only got my work laptop last month. Took the extra time to get unpacked and settled. Anyways, while Rich would love to have me back on his team, his boss is digging in her heels. He hasn't shared much detail, but he suggested I look into other positions locally. There is a small bank presence here on base and another department in Tokyo, but I'll frankly be surprised if they have anything for me. I don't have a good feeling about this, and I'm sad that such a great work set-up may be ending. Rich said he'd let me know in the next two weeks, keep your fingers crossed!
